Virat Kohli completes his 28th test century in International cricket on the fourth day of the Border-Gavaskar test series between India vs Australia.
The 34-year-old showed great determination to bat for long hours as he completed a fantastic century after the lunch break.
Kohli is a naturally aggressive batsman, but he curbed his natural instincts to reach the milestone. He also completed 4000 runs on home soil in test cricket on Saturday (11 March).
This could be one of his best innings in a while but one could feel that he was coming back to his old form, having scored a century in a T-20 game recently.
India vs Australia thrilling contest
Australia posed a huge total of 480 in the first innings where Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green both scored centuries.
Ravichandran Aswin bowled superbly and took six wickets for India in the first innings.
Indian opener Shubman Gill scored the second century (128) of his career yesterday before he was trapped leg-before by Nathan Lyon.
Ravindra Jadeja made 28, but wicket Srikar Bharat made useful contributions with the bat.

Australia have reached the finals of the World Test championship but it is still undecided who will join them in the final.
India are favourites at the moment to go through, but Srilanka have an outside chance as well, especially if they beat Newzealand.
Angelo Matthews has scored his 14th test century for Srilanka. At stumps, Newzeland are 28/1 and they need 257 runs to win on the final day.
