Turkish center-back Caglar Soyuncu has officially signed for Atletico Madrid, joining the club as a free agent.
After barely featuring for Leicester City in the Premier League last season, Turkish international Soyuncu has joined Atletico Madrid. The center-back has signed a four-year contract, the deal running until the summer of 2027.
It was a disappointing campaign for Soyuncu, who only played nine games across all competitions for Leicester last season.
He scored once for the Foxes in what was a terrible year for them, finishing 18th in the Premier League. As a result of their relegation to the Championship, they have already seen several players leave the club.

Atletico Madrid strengthen defense with Soyuncu signing
In what is their second signing of the summer transfer window, Atletico Madrid have done well to sign Soyuncu on a free transfer.
Diego Simeone’s side failed to win any silverware last season, crashing out of Europe after finishing bottom of their Champions League group.
The other signing Atletico has made so far is Javi Galan, another defender, from Celta de Vigo. The Colchoneros only had to pay €4-5m for Galan.
Yet, the Spanish giants are not done yet. They are on the cusp of finalizing the deal for long-time Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta.
Remarkably, he will join Atleti on a free deal, signing a two-year contract. On top of Azpilicueta, the club is also interested in Santiago Mourino and Jonathan Varane, the brother of French international Raphael.
