Fabrizio Romano shares transfer update on Manchester United trio

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is admired by Paris Saint-Germain but he is not going anywhere, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Erik ten Hag will have to make “two big decisions” in the upcoming transfer window, with the futures of Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay under scrutiny.

Rashford was previously linked with PSG back in 2022, and while he’s still appreciated by the French giants, a move to the Parisien club in near future is unlikely.

The England striker is on fire this season, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s scoring tally for the Red Devils, with 30 goals for the club. He has gained Ten Hag’s trust and confidence, which will not be lost quickly.

Manchester United transfer news – duo to leave?

According to Tuttosport, Lindelof, the 28-year-old Swedish defender, will leave Man Utd at the end of the season after a frustrating season, having made only nine Premier League appearances and being limited to playing cup competitions.

Lindelof joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2017, and he has made over 215 appearances for the club, scoring three times.

The Dutch boss could be looking to bring in new faces at the back, and the likes of Harry Maguire and Erc Bailly are also facing uncertain futures at the club.

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has been tracking Mctominay ahead of the summer transfer window as they are looking to add depth and reinforcements to their defense.

The Scottish midfielder has drastically dropped down the pecking order behind Casemiro, leaving him to bit-part roles mainly.

McTominay has managed only seven Premier League starts this season. It has been suggested that he would be keen to join the Magpies, especially if they can finish in the top four this season.

Man Utd are third in the Premier League table with 50 points from 26 games, and they are highly likely to qualify for the Champions League next season.
