Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has been granted permission to not travel with the squad to Germany for preseason as he closes in on a move to Al-Ittihad, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are prepared to commence their preseason camping in Germany ahead of the 2023-24 season, with new signings Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai due to make the trip with the team as they prepare for the new season.

Fabinho moved to Liverpool from AS Monaco for around £43.7m in 2018 and has been an integral member of Jurgen Klopp’s side ever since, making 219 appearances for the Reds. The Brazilian ace is prepared to move to Saudi, where he will form a formidable midfield pairing with former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
