Everton have placed a price tag of £10m on Jamaican winger Demarai Gray this summer as a number of teams are after the 27-year-old, according to inews.

The Toffees are keen to raise funds to help strengthen their squad in certain positions this summer, and are prepared to sell players to make this happen. Gray is entering into the final year of his contract at Everton and is attracting interest from multiple sides.

Everton have decided that a fee of around £10m will be required to sign Jamaica international Gray, who joined the Toffees for less than £2m from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021.

Crystal Palace and Saudi outfit Al-Hilal are the sides to have indicated a concrete interest in the winger, who was one of Everton’s best players in 2022-23.

Gray first left the Premier League when he joined Leverkusen from Leicester City for free in 2021 as the Foxes did not offer him a new contract. He joined the German club on an 18-month deal before returning six months later to Everton.

The Toffees will look to sell Gray for £10m with the interest in the player quite real from Crystal Palace, who are looking to replace the departing Wilfried Zaha, and Al-Hilal, who are looking to strengthen their squad.

Everton manager Sean Dyche is not among the biggest fans of Gray’s slender physique, preferring more robust players such as Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi in the wide positions. The 27-year-old Jamaica international managed six goals in 36 appearances for the Toffees in 2022-23 but seems set to leave the club.
