Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure has been offered to Turkish club Besiktas by his agent, according to a report from Fotospor.
The 30-year-old midfielder has managed only nine starts in the Premier League this season, but he has impressed heavily under Sean Dyche.
Earlier this season, it felt like Doucoure, who fell out with previous manager Frank Lampard, could be heading towards exit due to his contract situation. However, he has become a key player under Dyche, featuring regularly under him.
The explosive midfielder has a contract at the club until the end of the season, and Everton have the option to extend it for a further one more year.
With the Toffees fighting for Premier League survival, it has become unclear once again what the future holds next for the former Watford midfielder.
His agent has offered him to Besiktas and the report suggests that he could join the Turkish giants in the summer if their manager, Senol Gunes, gives the green light for the transfer to go ahead.
Will Doucoure leave Everton?
At the moment, it is really difficult to say. Lampard struggled to get the best out of him, but it appears that he is enjoying his role under Dyche.
The Mali international scored in the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest and also registered an assist in the 1-0 win over Brentford. His overall performance has improved, with Dyche giving him more freedom in midfield.
The Toffees midfield maestro said in a recent interview that he was close to leaving the club, but he stayed on in the end. The decision seems vindicated as he is happy at the club and wants to give his best as the Toffees aim to avoid relegation.
Thought Doucoure was excellent again today. A few players stepping up at the moment and he seems to be relishing that role of bursting from midfield to support Gray 👏 https://t.co/HknsehRbgy

He is a dynamic midfielder who brings energy to the middle of the park. While he is good at ball retention and controlling the game, he is at his best when he is given the licence to move forward as well.
His link-up play with Demarai Gray has been one of the highlighting features under Dyche so far. It could be a major coup for Besiktas if they can sign him next summer that too on a free transfer.
The problem with the Toffees is that they cannot make a decision now because of the situation they are in. They are fighting to stay up in the league, and that’s the first priority at the moment.
If the Toffees drop down to the Championship, he is almost certain to leave Goodison Park, but if they manage to secure their league status, there is a possibility that Dyche could keep him for one more year.
