Chelsea have rejected a third Manchester United bid for midfielder Mason Mount as the Red Devils have not reached their valuation of the player, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Manchester United have made Mount a priority target this summer and intend to make the English midfielder their first signing this summer. The Red Devils saw an initial bid of £40m rejected by the Blues before a second bid of £50m was also turned down.
Chelsea have rejected a third bid of £55m (£50m guaranteed plus £5m add-ons) for the midfielder and have set their asking price at £65m (£58m guaranteed plus £7m add-ons). They also intend to hold face-to-face talks with the Red Devils over the mdeal for the England international.
Mount has expressed his desire to leave Chelsea this summer amid the interest from United, and has agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.

Mount has informed Chelsea that he will not, under any circumstances, sign a new contract with the club. The Blues know they have to cash in on the midfielder now or they will lose him for free next summer.
Chelsea will work with the Red Devils to find the best resolution for the situation as they want to ensure all parties get what they want from the negotiation. The Red Devils have not pulled out of negotiations yet and are willing to find a common ground for the deal to take place.
