Besiktas are advancing in talks to sign Rob Holding on loan from Arsenal according to The Express. 

The 27-year-old has been offered the chance to leave Arsenal in search of first-team football after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

Holding could join Turkish giants Besiktas, who are frontrunners to sign the English defender, as reported by The Express.

The Gunners are also making a strong effort to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax this week, and the deal might cost over £40 million as per The Telegraph.

With the return of William Saliba, the impeccable form of Ben White, the undroppable Gabriel Maghalhaes, the addition of Jakub Kiwior and the arrival of Jurrien Timber on the cards, it indicates that his time at the North London club may be coming to an end.

The Gunners have received an offer for Holding, who is now discussing leaving the Emirates Stadium to join Turkish giants, Besiktas on loan.

The English defender had difficulty making an impact for the Gunners last season after featuring in just 14 Premier League matches, which is his lowest number of appearances in a top-tier season since 2019-20.
