Asmir Begovic has penned an emotional farewell message to the Everton fans as he will leave the club once his contract expires this summer.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper joined the Toffees in the summer of 2021 and has made 10 appearances for the club.
He has mainly played as a backup option behind Jordan Pickford and was limited to cup games. The Bosnian goalkeeper has thanked the fans for embracing him as one of their own.
Everton defender Yerry Mina has also confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season. The Colombian has penned an emotional farewell message as well to the fans.

Massive summer transfer window for Everton
This is going to be a massive summer transfer window for the Toffees and Sean Dyche must be backed properly in the market.
The Toffees, for the second season in a row, narrowly avoided relegation, but this cannot go on. The fans are getting restless over how the club is being run, and we could see a change in the boardroom as well.
Everton sold Richarlison and Anthony Gordon in the previous two transfer windows, and they may have to sell other assets this summer, like Dominic Calvert-Lewin or Jordan Pickford.
Dyche will be looking to build the squad to his own image but he cannot do this without proper funding. Even if key players leave, he should be given the license to reinvest the money into the squad.
It’s good to see that the Toffees are offloading their fringe players to make room for new additions. They must focus on youth development and have to be very smart with their recruits this summer.
